About Panfokrom Technical Institute
The school was built in 1957 under Governor Sir Charles Eden Clarke to train Women. The Name of the Institute was Panfokrom Women training Institute. It is located in The Gomoa East District ..Central Region. It' is in a Town called Panfokrom about 6 Km.from Potsin Junction
The school was officially established to train women irrespective of your age and background. The training was target at less previllage women with no Hands Skilled Job.
The training include, Batique tie and Die, dressmaking, Needle work, Home management, Hairdressing.
In 2013 the Principal ( Late Rebecca Ampah Korsah) of the School saw the need to Introduce Male dominated Courses .
The Courses are, Automotive Engineering, Building Construction Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information and communication Technology, Graphic Design and Plumbing and Gas Fittings Technology.
The School Currently can boast of about 900-1000 Students.
Our Major Challenges includes, Pratical Workshops, School Bus, Dinning Hall, Kitchen, Furniture, and we lack teachers.
the School also has a good records of Receiving the award of the Second best Engineering Student in Ghana in the year 2021..Panfokrom is a lovely Place to be...
