About Sacred Heart Technical Institute
Sacred Heart Trchnical Institute is situated at Jamestown, one of the suburbs of Accra.
The school started as a purely private Vocational Training Institute by the Catholic Church in Nov, 1980. The initiative to start the school emerged from Rev. Fr. Andrew Nii Lante Campbell. The school started on the prenises of Sacred Heart Parish at Derby Avenue, Accra. The school was taken over by the government in September, 1996 and has since been operated as a Public school. Currently the school runs 7 courses: namely Wood Construction Technology, Fashion Design Technology, Computer Hardware Technology, Hospitality &Catering Management, Cosmetology(Hairdressing), Accounting and Secretarial.
The vision of the school is "Achieving Excellence in Capacity Building in Both Employable Skills& Academic Empowerment Within a Disciplined Environment.
