About Nyong Technical Institute
Brief History Historical Background The present NYONG Technical Institute located in the Karaga municipal, started as a mixed boarding and day school in 2024 last year. The institution has a population of 314 students for the first and second years only with 21 both teaching and non-teaching staff. Vision To become a first-class skilled and ready workforce for Ghana and beyond. Mission To develop the professional and technical competence of future Ghanaian young people through life-long learning in TVET and Competency Based Training (CBT) to promote employability among Ghanaian youth.
NYONG Technical Institute Brief Background NYONG Technical Institute is a public Technical Training Institution located in NYONG, a community under Karaga municipal. The Institute is a public school mandated to deliver quality Technical and Vocational Education. The Institute is also under the Ghana TVET Voucher Project GTVP), coordinated by Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training to deliver Competency Based Training (CBT) to Master Craft Persons and Apprentices from then various trade areas (Welding, Consumer Electronics, Garment Making, etc) in the informal sector.
