Anfoeta Technical Institute is a public TVET Institution located at Anfoeta in the Ho West district of Volta region of Ghana. Established in 2025, the institute is mandated under GTVET Service to deliver industry relevant, competency based training that prepares the youth for employment and entrepreneurship. It is a mixed gender and a boarding second cycle institution. Technical and vocational programs are offered. Vision Statement To be a model TVET Institution shaping skilled job creating graduates who drive economic growth through industry driven Competency Based Training. Mission statement To deliver quality Technical and Vocational education that equips learners with relevant practical skills, innovation and entrepreneurial competencies to support industrial growth and sustainable development in Ghana and beyond. The Principal Overseer of Day to day management of the institute. The Vice Principal Administration, Academic and Head of Finance support the Principal in various roles in their respective domains. Heads of Departments Teaching and non teaching staff History of the school Anfoeta Technical Institute was initially a middle school It was changed to a vocational school by the Catholic Church under the auspices of Rt Rev A.K. Lodonu in the year 1986 to 1994. After the collapse in 1994, the community took over and converted into Secondary Technical School. The community run the school till 2017. With the introduction of the free Senior High School, the school collapsed once again. However, with the desire to promote education in the community, the chiefs and people of Anfoeta revamp the school by the support of the Member of Parliament of Ho West, Hon Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzra and with the assistance from GETFUND in 2025. The school was taken over by Ghana TVET Service and was inaugurated in September, 2025. The first batch of students of Anfoeta Technical Institute were admitted in October 2025. 117 students were admitted into 5 trade areas in 2025/26 academic year. Future Plan of Anfoeta Technical Institute To become a model technical institute, that will be a hub of modern mechanized agricultural production, processing and providing catering services to feed the local economy.
