About Ho-Lokoe Technical Institute
Ho–Lokoe Technical Institute, established in 1965, is a public TVET institution in Ho, Volta Region. It trains youth from diverse backgrounds in employable skills. Formerly the Women’s Training Institute, it offers boarding and day facilities and operates under the Ghana TVET Service of the Ministry of Education.
Ho – Lokoe Technical Institute, formerly Community Development Vocational /Technical Institute, Ho (Volta Region) is a public institution established in 1965 under the Department of Community Development, which is within the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development. It started at Ho RTC and later on moved to the current location in the year 1996. The Institute was known as Women’s Training Institute. The school has boarding and day facilities. The main activity of the Institute is training of the youth of diverse background, to acquire skills so as to create employment opportunities for them. The Institute is located off the Diamond Street, Sokode – Lokoe, in the Ho Municipality. The Institution is currently under the Ghana TVET Service of the Ministry of Education.

Major Achievements
1. Lobbied for a 3 unit classroom block which is under construction by Hon Benjamin Kpodo 2. Constructed 20 classroom tables and chairs 3. PTA provided 350 plastic chairs, and constructing a pavilion for practical lessons 4. Renovated an abandoned room for boys dormitory 5. Engaged in crop farming each season used for feeding learners
