1. Introduction
Botoku Technical Institute is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution committed to equipping learners with practical skills, knowledge, and competencies for sustainable employment and national development. The institute serves as a key center for technical education in the North Dayi District of the Volta Region of Ghana.
2. Historical Background
Botoku Technical Institute was originally established in the 1993/1994 academic year as an Integrated Community Centre for Employable Skills (ICCES) under the Social Welfare Department.

The institution later experienced operational challenges and was revived in the 2016/2017 academic year under the supervision of the TVET authorities.

Since its re-establishment, the institute has continued to provide technical education to students from Botoku and surrounding communities such as Vakpo, Have, Wusuta,Tsrukpe and Tsorxor.
