History
The institution was built in 2000. It was started in an old town house in Hemang - Buoho, Ashanti Region of Ghana. It started with two(2) courses- General Electricals and Building and construction with the core subjects being English, Mathematics, Science, entreprenuership and Information and communication technology. Later, it was relocated to a new place with three classroom blocks and an administration office which was built by the district assembly in 2012. With the help of community members and parents the building and construction department was able to add additional classroom blocks which served as workshops. In 2018, ghana and germany had an agreement to support technical and vocational training in the country and as a result the school had some additional facilities which include; an administration block, two classroom blocks,ICT lab, three workshops building with modern tools and equipments for trainning, hundred bed capacity boarding house for boys and 50 bed caapcity boarding house for girls. Before 2018, it was fee paying institution and so it had few students about 90 but with the introduction of free senior high school, we now currently have over 650 students as regular and over 50 running short courses in various programs. The school now has 37 teaching and non-teching staff

Challenges
The school still has numerous challenges. These include;
Security issues - no fence wall, limited number of security officers
Inadequate teaching and non - teaching staff
Electrical power cuts
No internet services for students
The current curriculum is too theoritical
