About Nsoatre Technical Institute
Nsoatre Technical Institute is a Category B TVET institution located in Nsoatre, Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region. The institute offers competency-based skills training in nine trade areas, including engineering, construction, hospitality, fashion, and beauty. With dedicated staff and over 1000 students, it equips learners with employable and entrepreneurial skills.
Nsoatre Technical Institute (NTI) is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution located in Nsoatre, within the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region of Ghana.
The institute operates under the supervision of the Ghana TVET Service and is committed to providing quality technical and vocational education that equips learners with practical skills, entrepreneurial competencies, and industry-relevant knowledge for employment and self-reliance. The institute is classified as a *Category B TVET Institution* and serves as an important center for skills development in the municipality and beyond.
Since its establishment, the school has played a significant role in producing skilled artisans, technicians, and entrepreneurs who contribute meaningfully to national development. Nsoatre Technical Institute currently offers training in *nine trade areas*, namely: Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Hardware and Networking Technology, Building Construction Technology, Automobile Engineering Technology, Plumbing and Gas Technology, Wood Construction Technology, Catering and Hospitality Management, Fashion Design Technology, and Hair Technology.
These programmes are competency-based and designed to meet the demands of industry and the labour market while promoting innovation, creativity, and practical problem-solving skills among students. The institute has a student population of *over 1000 learners* drawn from all the regions of the country. The school is supported by a dedicated workforce of *more than 40 teaching and non-teaching staff* who work collaboratively to provide effective instruction, student support services, and efficient administration. The staff are committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and excellence in technical education. In addition to academic and practical training, the institute promotes discipline, leadership, teamwork, and entrepreneurship among students. Learners are encouraged to participate in practical projects, industrial attachments, co-curricular activities, and community engagement programmes that enhance their employability and personal development. The institute continues to pursue improvements in infrastructure, teaching and learning resources, and industry partnerships to enhance the quality of training delivered.

Principal dedication and hard work recognized head of civil service with a plaque and other domestic equipment, won several trophies during the tvet regional sports competitions over the years and the most well behaved school in bono region during sports competitions. Two students won the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition in 2023, Bronze and Silver Awards respectively
