Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Technical Institute is a Category "A" co-educational second-cycle technical school located in Adako Jachie-Kwamo in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The school was established in September 1978 by the Department of Community Development under the ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
The institute has undergone three name transitions: it was initially called Center for Rural Industries (CRI) alongside with Kwamo Technical Institute (Kwatech), and later changed to Community Development Technical Institute (CoDTECH), from there to Adako Jachie Technical Institute (AJATECH) and now Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Technical Institute (OTTECH).
We offer seven (7) programmes namely: Electrical Engineering Technology, Building Construction Technology, Plumbing and Gas Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, Welding and Fabrication Technology, Garment/Fashion Design Technology and Wood Technology.
The school write both CTVET CERTIFICATE II Examination and National Proficiency Examination.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Technical Institute is Mixed School with Day and Boarding System.
